QE2: Her Final Crossing – Brian Baum

This book provides a comprehensive look at the last transatlantic crossing by Cunard’s legendary ocean liner. The voyage, made in tandem with Queen Mary 2 in October 2008, provided a fitting tribute for Queen Elizabeth 2 as she neared retirement after nearly four decades in service. More than 120 spectacular original and archival photographs bring the entire journey to life — including QE2‘s final trip down the Hudson River and the moving mid-ocean salute between the last two great Atlantic liners.

192 pages – Expected in September 2019.
Over Both Poles: Epic Flights Around the World – Brian Baum
The research for what was to be the first book released by StrongTree Creative began in January 2016. Initially titled Pan Am Flight 50: Around the World Over Both Poles, this book was to chronicle the author’s personal experiences before, during, and after the first record-setting passenger transpolar flight. The scope of the book continues to grow as research for this flight led to the discovery of remarkable details about six other aerial circumnavigations of the North and South Poles. The first transpolar flight took place in 1965, with the most recent completed in July of this year.
